The Most Beautiful Instrument Made Better

TC Helicon was founded in 2000 after parent company TC Group teamed up with IVL Technologies Ltd. who, at the time, had developed products for professional and amateur musicians. TC Helicon had one singular goal in mind: to provide tools and solutions for the world's most beautiful instrument - the human voice.

That goal came to fruition with the release of the VoicePrism. This rack mounted processor let users create four-voice harmonies, voice doubling, and add flanger, reverb, chorus, and delay effects which could be saved in presets.

Singers Get More Control

With singers wanting more control on stage, TC Helicon released the VoiceLive floor processor; a multi-effects stompbox that combined the top-notch EQ, compression, delay, and reverb algorithms from TC Electronic, and the best harmony, correction, and doubling effects from TC Helicon. The ability to control these effects during a live performance greatly enhanced the singers performance and creativity.

VoiceTone

It was apparent, with the success of VoiceLive, that on-stage effects that vocalists could call upon at the push of a button were the way to go. So the VoiceTone line of vocal effects pedals were developed. Vocalists would be able to create vocal harmonies, add reverb, chorus, and delay effects but via a more compact pedal.
