VoiceLive 2 with VLOOP – guitar & vocal looping

Tom Lang showcase the latest major firmware update to VoiceLive 2. The latest update adds TC-Helicon’s VLOOP, vocal performance looper. The looper can be assigned to the shortcut button. The single button looper provides play, overdub, undo/redo, stop and erase.

  1. I updated my voice live 2 over a year ago. the update included VLOOP. I’m having issues with the loop levels. Do you have an updated PDF manual that can help me to better use this feature?

  2. where is the actual link to download v-loop? Why is it even so difficult to find?

    • Hiya shantnew,

      In order to get VLOOP, you’ll need to connect your VoiceLive 2 via USB to your computer and use the VoiceSupport software to update your firmware (to version 1.3):-

      You’ll find 1.3 under the “FIRMWARE” tab.

  3. I am interested in the VoiceLive 2. It is really cool. However these pedals have so many features I don’t know which one to buy. What is the difference between the VoiceLive2, The Harmony GXT and the VoiceLive Touch. I play Acoustic/electric, electric guitars, bass and sing.

      Hopefully this should help you a little…

      - VoiceLive 2… Can control harmony via guitar/MIDI/any audio sound source (backing mp3 etc) and contains the hard-tune effect. The VoiceLive 2 remains the most editable of all of our products – so if you are the kind of vocalist that likes things “just right” for your specific voice, this is a no brainer.

      - VoiceLive Touch… Can control harmony via guitar/MIDI/any audio sound source and also has the hard-tune effect with great looping features to boot! This also contains lots of vocal effects like doubling, lush reverbs, special effects etc. The VoiceLive Touch is touch screen operated (mic stand mountable) as opposed to foot controlled & floor based.

      - VoiceTone Harmony-G XT… Gives you two harmony voices on the fly to play with in an extremely easy to use “plug & Play” design. The harmonies can be triggered via guitar or you can manually set a key/scale. It includes Doubling and some subtle pitch correction with the newest software update.   4. I WANT TO PURCHASE THE VOICELIVE 2, HOWEVER I WANT THE VLOOP FEATURE. DO ALL VOICELIVE 2 PRODUCTS AUTOMATICALLY HAVE THE VLOOP FEAUTRE?

      One of the great things about the VoiceLive 2 is that we’re always adding new features via free updates on VoiceSupport. If you have a VoiceLive 2 you will be able to download / add the VLOOP feature at any time when it becomes available.
