Bought my voice live touch eBay usa store del to Adelaide last August it worked twice and won’t switch on now lights flash and it won’t work no support re warranty in Australia they say I have to send it to USA expensive and now I am stuck with unit that won’t work what should I do
Hi Steve,
Unfortunately your local dealer is correct. The unit is supported by the warranty in the country of purchase. It’s a bit of the downside with any international warranty for an item shipped out of the country where the warranty applies. The warranty will be fully honored in the US, but you’ll need to get it to the repair facility.
I’d contact our support team for more details. http://www.tc-helicon.com/support
my tc helicon touch
I`m from Sud america the Santiago de Chile

Hi ammy,
The best bet is to contact Support and see if they can help you out. http://www.tc-helicon.com/support
Are there any stores near Times Square in New York that sell the T C Helicon products.
There’s a Guitar Center in Manhattan. http://stores.guitarcenter.com/Manhattan
Not sure about closer retailers.
I love “Take a stand”
Hi Tom,
love the vids watch i think all of yours on youtube.
I live in australia but bought the voicelive touch and twin impact on ebay from the states..
so now need power supplies.
specs state that the voicelive is 14 volts but got an email from the Australian distributors saying any 12V DC 1000mA (1Amp) adapter would do.
its this correct even though its states 14 volts on your tech specs
also would it be the same for the twin impact as i know that is 12 volts.
cheers.
Colin
ps: keep the great vids up.
also the song you sang on one demo, lay your hands on me is that a completed song (full version somewhere)
love to here it
Heya Colin,
I’m passing on the below message from Tom in reply
…
Hey Colin,
The tech specs for Touch say 14 W(watts) not volts. It requires a 12V adaptor @ 1A(amp). BTW, your purchase is on the grey market so pls don’t expect any warranty.
Thanks for the comments on my vids and tune. Unfortunately, like most of my TC-Helicon demos, the Lay your hands on me is unfinished. I will one day consider finishing it and the others people have commented on.
Cheers,
Tom
HI Tom,
not sure what you mean when you say I’m not covered for warranty because it was purchased on the grey market.
it was bought through eBay from Pro Audio Star which is based in New York and states
Authorized Dealer | Full Warranty
regards
Colin
Hiya Colin,
Let me explain… What Tom was referring to was the fact that the warranty is only valid in the country where you bought your TC-Helicon product from.
Best wishes,
Joey
Tom,
I’m so inspired by this piece. Man I can’t wait to incorporate this unit into my line up. Seems like the possibilites are endless. I’ve got 3 other fellas in my band and they all sing well…so, when I originally introduced them to the Voice Live 2 they felt I was taking part of their job away from them…or the fun anyway. I encouraged them that they could take on the multi stack harmonies on the counter melodies…but…with the introduction of the Voice Live 2, I bet I can actually perform counter melodies on top of running my own stacked harmonies = pretty flippin’ kewl my brother!!! It may seem small, but having the processor within arms reach is awesome…
I use my VL2 extensively but always have to look down, to switch patches, cutting of my wind at the same time. This could rememdy a lot of that. Even better, if it gets me close to what I’m using in the VL2, I can see processing my primary backup singer through the VL2 and lean on the the Touch for my primaries. In reading some of the other blogs I can see you’ve already tempted VL2 users into finding ways to inject a looping tool into their arsenal…Something I’ve added to my chain is a stereo tube preamp right off of the main outputs of the VL2…for one it adds some warmth but also gives me the ability to pump the volume a little more if I need it, at the touch of a knob. It’s a great time to be alive. Later Tom! I always enjoy your insightful vids!!!
Namaste,
Brian
Thanks, Joey. One quick question – the unit really seems designed to hang on a mike stand, but needs power from somewhere. Will there be a battery option? It would eliminate the need for a power supply in the middle of the stage.
Heya Joel,
My pleasure
. I’m afraid there’s no battery option with the VoiceLive Touch… All that harmony and display power takes a lot of AC and TC-Helicon also wanted to go as “green” as possible.
Best wishes,
Joey
Hey Tom,
Nicely done, and great inspiration for using voice, guitar, and looping. How would one replicate what you’ve done here with a VoiceLive 2? Just add, say, a Boss Loopstation after the VL2 output?
Great piece of gear – look forward to seeing one in person, although I personally am still more of a floor pedal guy. But who knows…
Cheers,
Joel
Hiya Joel,
Glad you enjoyed Tom’s video!
Yes, to use voicelive 2 in a looping setup, you’d need to add a looper product at the output of voicelive 2. That gets you the basic concept. Of course, in VoiceLive Touch it’s integrated and has some extra easy performance looping with VLOOP – and it’s in stereo. But, for getting basic looping with any product, adding the looper after the effect/s is ideal.
Hope I’ve helped a little
.
Best wishes,
Joey
