Revolutionary MP-75 Microphone Now Shipping

Now Shipping MP-75 and MP-70 modern performance vocal mics, one with added Mic Control exactly where you need it.

TC-Helicon has already revolutionized the tools available for the modern vocalist, no matter what the style. Now the revolution goes one step further by creating the ultimate end-to-end solution for vocalists with the addition of two high performance dynamic microphones.

MP-75

MP-70MP-70 and MP-75

Both microphones are handheld dynamics that deliver the superlative performance that vocalists have come to expect from a TC-Helicon product, but the MP-75 comes with one added feature that puts vocalists in control of their performance – Mic Control.

Superior Vocal Tone
The proprietary Lismer capsule design uses a patented neodymium magnet structure for high output and uniform performance. The placement of the super-cardioid capsule provides a high degree of off-axis noise rejection and feedback suppression. In addition, a dual material diaphragm with light and rigid sections produces 50Hz to 18kHz frequency response.

What is Mic Control?
The MP-75 dynamic handheld mic has a single button on the barrel that can be used to switch effects from a range of TC-Helicon effects processors in and out. In this way any vocalist can switch effects and signal processing in or out of the signal path as they see fit. Simply hit the button that’s right there on the barrel and change your performance in an instant.

The MP-75 is a microphone engineered for the sonic realities of modern vocal performance. MP-75 allows for simple one-button control of a range of TC-Helicon vocal effects (free firmware update may be required), including:

Price:
MP-75 US$169 estimated, €149 SSP

  2. I have the TC Helicon Harmony G-XT and the MP75 Micro.

I downloaded the latest firmware and switched the phantom power on, but the blue button on the Micro won’t give me any controll.

Something about holding the 2e an 3e button from the left while powering up doesn’t work either.

I don’t need the button, but it would be nice when it works. Someone know’s the answer.

    • Hiya Frank,

Here’s how you configure the Harmony-G XT for use with Mic Control:

      Connect your MP-75 Microphone.
Make sure phantom power is turned on.
Hold down the DOUBLE and FX buttons. The ON switch will blink.
Press the Mic Switch on the MP-75 to toggle between the footswitches. Release the DOUBLE and FX buttons to exit.

      Hope this helps :) .

      Best wishes,

      Joey

The ON switch doesn’t blink. I hold it for like 30 seconds. Downloaded the latest firmware. Tried every possible option.

The VoiceLive Touch has 18 different delay “styles” and 30 different Reverb “Styles” also. There are many effects in stereo and the VoiceLive Touch can also be used in Mono if you like :) .

You can use each type of effect simultaneously also and turn them on an off via the touchscreen when needed. Check out the full manual which is available for download via the TC-Helicon website for loads more info:

  9. I am trying to find stores at your site for the MP-75 but, since I am browsing from Mexico City, your site only says that there are no stores in Mexico. Could you send me the name of stores in Los Angeles so I could get the MP-75 from one in there, please?

    Regards,

  10. Is there any store in L.A. that has the MP 75? I have VoiceLive 2 and I live in Mexico City, but a friend of mine is going to L.A. pretty soon, so I really want this mic ;)
    Thanks!

    • Hiya Steve,

We have just started shipping the MP-75 so it should be arriving with dealers across the globe very shortly. You should be able to find the mic’s at all TC-Helicon dealers but it might be worth making a couple of calls and checking online in advance to reserve one :) .

      Best wishes,

      Joey
