Ken Tamplin Reviews the TC-Helicon VoiceTone H1

OK, singers out there, let’s be honest.KenTamplin1

How many times have you been with your group with very specific harmonies that “others” didn’t take the time to learn their parts?

Or, they just weren’t that good to begin with and either they lay out altogether (leaving you naked in December’s snow), or their parts sucked so bad you WISHED they had left you naked in December’s snow?

So TC-Helicon comes along and makes this box called the VoiceTone H1 that’s about the size of a guitar stomp distortion pedal.

You open the box and it carries a little fortune cookie rescue note that says:

“Help! We’re two smokin’ black chicks and a white singer guy trapped in a little metal box. PLEASE help and let us out!!!”

Well, that’s basically what the VoiceTone H1 is!!!!

You plug the thing in and guess what? The background singers ARE AS GOOD AS YOU ARE! No Kidding!

I can’t tell you how much I would have paid for this a few years back.

AND YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO FEED THEM, THEY DON’T TALK BACK…AND THEY’RE NEVER LATE TO REHEARSAL!!! 

All those Singing Lessons I have given to band members over the years could have been solved in one little stomp box!

Or here’s one for ya:

All you worship leaders out there. Tired of teaching mediocre “volunteers” How To Sing? Hey, go ahead and leave them on the worship team because let’s face it, they’re really there for the “support group” anyway and love to serve. (but secretly, you’ve got confidence with your new VoiceTone H1). They no-show to practice because little Johnny’s soccer game went a little over. But that’s ok… you are only a click away from Praise The Lord & Pass The Harmonies! (hey, I’m a Christian who has led a zillion worship teams, so all you worship leaders out there are chuckling right now because you know exactly what I’m talkin’ about :) )

Seriously, the box rocks and the price rocks even harder, you’ve gotta check it out.

It even tracks the key your guitar is in when you play so no worries on tuning down, changing keys when you are a little hoarse… you name it!

I give VoiceTone H1 two thumbs way up!!

Again: Nice job TC-Helicon!!!
