I had been looking for a loop pedal that would fit my setup and fell in love with the Voicelive GTX in part because it reminds me of R2D2. ;) I love the sound banks and its really fun and inspiring to scroll through the different artist presets.

Described by the Huffington Post as “if Alice took Ziggy Stardust’s hand and followed him down the rabbit hole to a world guided by the twists and turns of ethereal and colorful vocals”, IAMEVE is a singer, songwriter and storyteller.

As a child, this musical pixie spent as much time as possible in the woods letting her imagination take the lead. Her outdoor adventures found her talking to fairies and other interesting creatures…which would eventually be a part of the mystical world that surrounds her music.

Deeply committed to art and the age of the heroine, IAMEVE is fiercely connected to powerful women and empower a world that is full of them, hence the creation of her ethereal character namesake.

Four years ago, a life altering accident left her with a bionic elbow and a fear of not playing instruments again. Rather than give up, she underwent painful rehabilitation and found a new way to create, switching from guitar and piano to electronic instrumentation.

Now she is writing and producing music close to her heart, packed with pixie magic and creating an ethereal world. IAMEVE is a sci-fi inspired musical vessel designed to transport people to another world exploring the power of rebirth through death. Clearly focused on spiritual growth through metaphysical means, this tale explores the challenges that many of us face as we struggle to find our own unique voice.

IAMEVE’s work has been featured in over 100 films and TV shows, as an up and coming songwriter by the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Most recently, IAMEVE has lent her songwriting and vocal talents to the film Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters with the theme song “To Feel Alive”, Showtime’s Masters of Sexand Ray DonovanSaphirblau (Sequel to German sensation Rubinrot), ABC’s The Lying GameDelusions of Guinevere and more.
