It’s not a big surprise to see some comments here and there about the whereabouts of VoiceLive 2 firmware version 1.3. The new update is poised to add a pretty stellar feature in looping.

Some of you heard the news and even got a taste of the new VoiceLive 2 firmware that adds looping. You requested the loop feature so many times that we took time after finishing off firmware for VoiceLive Touch to add a simple performance looper and other improvements and fixes to VoiceLive 2.

Tom Lang showcase the latest major firmware update to VoiceLive 2. The latest update adds TC-Helicon’s VLOOP, vocal performance looper. The looper can be assigned to the shortcut button. The single button looper provides play, overdub, undo/redo, stop and erase. VoiceLive 2

Holophonics is a French Rock/Metal band that was formed in 2005, and since then, things have been moving ‘fast forward’ for the band. In 2009, they released their second album, Travel Diary From Inner Landscape, which received great reviews from the critics including Rolling Stone Magazine and Rock One. The singer, Stef, is very focused on string melodies, but he also pay a great deal of attention to working with harmonies – particularly in chorus parts. For that purpose – and other vocal effects – he has become a very devoted TC-Helicon VoiceLive 2 user.
