TC-Helicon Introduces VoiceLive Play – A Compact Vocal Wonder for All Singers
VoiceLive Play is a new take on a compact multi effects unit for singers, but it is also so much more. Obviously it is packed with TC-Helicon’s pro-level effects tailored specifically for vocalists and state-of-the-art harmony processing yet it is in the details where ’Play’ really shines. Basically, singers will be catered to as if a dedicated vocal producer was sitting inside the box, always ready to fulfill their every wish and follow their slightest move.

Tommy DeCarlo – Falling in Love with TC-Helicon
I wouldn’t necessarily say that my TC-Helicon products have changed the way I work but they’ve definitely made my work a lot more fun and easy. Just scrolling through the presets on the Voice Live 2 alone has given me new ideas not only for my current and future projects but for past projects as well. The Voice Live 2 & Voice Tone units open up so many possibilities. Where I once used to cringe at the thought of coming up with vocal harmony parts for a particular song, I now look forward to that aspect of it with the help of the Voice Live 2.

Matty J / CKY – Rocking Hard with VoiceLive 2 and VoiceTone Synth
“I’ve never had any official voice coaching or vocal lessons (although I did take guitar, bass and drum lessons) and without even knowing I started using the VoiceLive 2 and realized that not only does it make really cool sounds but it also makes me sing almost in perfect pitch. A lot of people think – ‘Oh, you’ve got that effect on and you’re not singing’, but, you actually have to sing really close to the note to get it to work right so it’s almost like it’s my own personal vocal coach as I find my pitch is really spot on now even when I’m not using it as a result so it’s really helped me out like that.”

Musically Speaking reviews the MP-75
It is clear that every part within the mic is based around quality. This doesn’t just mean that the mic can withstand the torture of live performance, it also means that the sound quality that you get is absolutely amazing. I tested this mic against other mics at my studio such as a Shure SM-58 and the Audio Technica MB 3000L and the difference was very obvious and for the most part extremely positive.

Freegh – Addicted to VoiceLive 2
I use the VoiceLive 2 mostly because of its astounding capacity to create and then combine, in a very intelligent manner, harmonized voices together. This magical result makes the unit an essential tool for live and studio purposes. In the studio, for instance, on each song that I’m about to record, I edit voices on the VoiceLive 2, making them sound realistic or not, before finally printing them down to tape or DAW. The goal is to add different colors to the tone of my lead vocal or my own backing vocals. It helps them cut through the final mix, and I must admit that the VoiceLive 2 does the job incredibly! I would add that the effects inside are impressive, powerful and give a highly immeasurable answer to the most demanding singer…

Tired of Waiting for That Big Break?
From the editor of VoiceCouncil magazine: Sometimes a comment gets left at the end of a VoiceCouncil post that leaves me feeling courage to face the day. That was the case when Ashley Weir said: After years of waiting for my big “shot” I decided to put my ego to the side and never say [...]
